Minimal data, clear purpose.
Analytics and enquiries on this website, and where the directory data comes from.
Website analytics
We use PostHog to count page visits and see which pages are useful. Session recording and autocapture are off, so we do not record what you type or which elements you click beyond a small number of navigation events we define explicitly. We do not send form inputs or email content to analytics, and we respect browser “Do Not Track” settings.
Email enquiries
The site uses direct email links rather than a web form, so nothing you write reaches us until you choose to send it. Information you send is handled through the relevant email service and used only to answer your enquiry.
Payments
Nothing is on sale on this site yet, so no payment is taken and no card or billing data is processed. When the directory goes on sale, payment will be handled by a third-party processor whose checkout collects card details directly, and this page will be updated before that happens.
Where the directory data comes from
The directory describes firms, not private individuals. Every record is built from what the firm publishes about itself or from a public source: its own website, regulatory register entries, company registry filings, and public transaction announcements. A named partner appears only where the firm identifies that person publicly in a professional capacity. We do not hold personal mobile numbers or private email addresses, and we do not buy contact data from list brokers.
If you represent a firm in the directory and want its record corrected or removed, email contact@seekprivateequity.com and we will do it. Removal takes effect in the next version we publish. Copies already downloaded by a customer before that point are outside our control, which is the honest limit of what any directory can promise.
